Ricoh360 Tours Alternative: 360are vs Ricoh360 Tours

360are is a cost-conscious RICOH360 Tours alternative for businesses that already have panoramic images and want to publish, share, and collect inquiries. PLUS offers unlimited published tours from $5.99 per month billed annually; BUSINESS adds branding, CRM, and AI Chat.

The key question is whether you need a tour publishing platform or a subscription with additional property-media production tools. Paying for the workflow you use is more meaningful than comparing the length of two feature lists.

360are vs RICOH360 Tours pricing

PlanAnnual-billing equivalentAnnual subscriptionMain emphasis
360are PLUS$5.99/month$71.88Unlimited published tours and lead capture
360are BUSINESS$19.99/month$239.88Branding, CRM, AI Chat, interactive floor-plan map
RICOH360 Tours Pro$39/month$468Unlimited active tours plus media automation
RICOH360 Tours Business$59/month$708Additional presentation and automation options

Sources: 360are pricing and RICOH360 Tours pricing. These are annual commitments in USD. For monthly flexibility, 360are lists PLUS at $10/month and BUSINESS at $25/month.

Both RICOH360 paid plans include unlimited active tours and storage. Its page lists a 14-day Business trial, image enhancement, annotations, sharing/embedding, and virtual staging allowances of 20 rooms on Pro or 100 on Business per month. Business adds custom-domain and password options. These are real differences to weigh if you use them, rather than reasons to assume unlimited tours are unique to 360are.

Why 360are can be the better fit

Keep the cost aligned with tour delivery

At these annual rates, 360are PLUS costs $396.12 less than RICOH360 Pro per year. 360are BUSINESS costs $468.12 less than RICOH360 Business. These are subscription differences, not claims that the bundles are equivalent.

If you already edit your own images and mainly need to connect rooms, publish the tour, and send clients a link, 360are gives you a lower-cost route to that deliverable. You can reserve the remaining budget for photography, editing, or acquiring clients.

Use your existing panoramic photographs

A Ricoh camera and a RICOH360 Tours subscription are separate decisions. For 360are, export compatible stitched, equirectangular JPG or PNG panoramas, check the format requirements, and build your tour in the browser.

RICOH360 also offers capture through its own supported workflows, including THETA and smartphone options. We do not suggest that buying a particular camera forces you to use one hosting service. The practical test is whether you have suitable source images and whether the resulting tour meets your client's needs.

Follow up with visitors in the same service

360are PLUS includes lead capture with email notifications. BUSINESS adds a CRM for submitted and imported leads, account branding, and a personalized landing page.

BUSINESS also includes AI Chat with an account-wide allowance of 1,000 questions per month; additional questions are $0.02 each. Configure the tour's AI information around what visitors need to know, such as property details or booking instructions.

Floor-plan navigation is different from floor-plan generation

360are BUSINESS lets you add an interactive floor-plan map using an image you provide. Visitors use it to navigate between scenes. It is not a promise to generate a measured floor plan from the tour.

RICOH360 lists floor-plan generation at $20 per plan, with the first free. If generated plans, automated media, or staging are part of your client package, include their value and any extra charges in your comparison. RICOH360 plan details.

How to evaluate a switch

  1. Choose one representative property and gather its original panoramas.
  2. Build and preview the tour on 360are FREE. Complete tour publishing requires PLUS or higher.
  3. Choose BUSINESS if you need branding, CRM, or the MLS presentation; custom-domain setup is available on request.
  4. Test the regular link and website embed, plus the inquiry form, before replacing existing client links.

Do not assume that a RICOH360 project, its settings, or its existing address will import automatically. Keep the old delivery working until the replacement has been checked.

360are is especially compelling when you want affordable panorama publishing and business follow-up without paying for media automation you do not use. Review the plans or read 360are vs Matterport if you are also considering a digital-twin workflow.
